jacqueline

this girl's laugh and smile are contagious!!! my husband and i shot her moms wedding in april (which was way more fun then working should be). and jacqueline and her mom wanted me to do her senior portraits. so jaqueline brought along her friend (dominique) and some more family (stephen & ashley) and we did one ginormous photo shoot at the botanical gardens. it was nice to always have someone ready to take pictures of (and i'm sure everyone else enjoyed having a little break every now and then from having their pictures taken, hahaha)

it was a fun morning. and i love the pictures.

i'm so lucky i got to meet dominique, she was so sweet (and quiet) but i had lots of fun taking pictures of her. she was so natural in front of the camera (i need to learn her little head tilt maybe if i mastered that pictures of me would come out good too!!!)

stephen & ashley

soon to be married this summer, i hope i get to see them again. they were so much fun and so easy to work with. i'd say let's try this and they would just jump up on that not so sturdy looking fence and hope it wouldn't fall down (and if it did then we'd have some fun pictures!!!)

the pack's

i'm always amazed how many pictures i take in such a short amount of time. it's a good thing i've got a large memory card (especially when you're around fun, active, amazingly good looking kids like these). we had a fun time filled with lots of marshmellows, dancing, climbing, and wrestling. i'm so lucky that such wonderful people let me into their homes to take pictures of them. thank you!!!

the turner's

i was too excited to share these photos. i haven't done anything else all morning (except read while my pictures were loading). i had so much fun this weekend. i'm already planning a trip back to old town to hand out with my kids there and take some pictures of them. i've been so busy taking everyone else's pictures lately i don't have any REALLY recent ones of ashleigh and elijah.

how incredibly cute and perfect is this family!?!?! i've watched them go from 2 kids to 4 and when they all walked up together i was surprised by how big a family with 4 kids looked. yikes!!! but they were so much fun and i was afraid they were going to get us kicked out the whole time (climbing on all the art). but i'm glad they weren't afraid!!!

things we learned at the nm state fair...

1. mario had never been in the dairy barn.

2. my kids don't really like cotton candy, thus $5.00 spent on cotton candy was way too much and i still have a sugar headache from eating all that cotton candy.

3. being a theif at old mcdonalds farm is ok.

4. elijah and dad look way too much alike (and act too much alike)

5. mario should of never been allowed in old mcdonalds farm.

6. elijah may have a little cowboy in him after all

7. ashleigh's cute (we already knew that)

the most important thing we learned...
8. not all carnies are scary (cross that out) not all carnies are mean money hungry cheaters. (they are all scary). the nice lady at the fishing game cheated so both kids could win a small prize

it was fun and not the money spending pit it usually is. thanks for ditching work to hang out with us dad. now i'm getting excited for the balloon fiesta (which also happens to fall on my birthday!!!)
