almost 1!

Olivia, soon to be 1 (and soon to be a big sister) was so much fun.
such a sweet and beautiful baby girl!!!hopefully i get to meet her little brother or sister and take pictures of them too! hint hint




this was my favorite part of the shoot though.

after which olivia would laugh! LOVE IT! seriously how could you get mad at the little angel?






i realize all the pictures i choose to post are portrait. it feels odd to look at them a little (at least i turned some black and white). i'm slowly making my way through all the pictures i have to edit. i'm a little lazy these days i promise after i have this baby and get back into a little routine (maybe around january or february if i'm lucky) i'll be more creative with my picture layouts and i'll even post more often (but it'll probably be a bunch of baby pictures!!!)

37 weeks 4 days (well that was yesterday)

i got a complaint that i don't blog enough. well here's me blogging and pictures of my kids!!! warning there are also pregnancy pictures, please feel free to quickly scroll past those if you wish.




elijah and ashleigh, they're so silly. i asked them to give each other a kiss (thinking they'd peck each other on the cheek or elijah would get grossed out and refuse) but no they didn't

then they both wiped they're mouths right away. ha!










so here's my week in a nut shell.
monday - take pictures with baby cayde (already finished)
tuesday - elijah's field trip and piano lessons
wednesday - dr's appointment (38 weeks!), soccer practice and elijah's fall festival at school (at the same time i might add)
thursday - guess i'll get around to editing the folders filed with picture files that i have from this weekend oh yeah and piano lessons
friday - piano lessons and there was something else going on but i can't remember
saturday - soccer game, halloween canival and trick or treating

this would be a nice week to have a baby and get out of doing all the things on my list!!! i could use a break

the smith's (or more like savannah!)

family pictures? savannah's the cute one i decided to spend their family photo shoot just taking pictures of her! ha!

she's just a couple months younger than my ashleigh but she's the sweetest, calmest little angel. i didn't know almost 3 year old's could be that way. she's was so cute and fun to take picture with.


















one more round of mini sessions. hopefully my baby decides to wait until i'm done (i'm sure she will. i haven't had a kid come early yet!) but she doesn't have to hang out in the oven much longer after saturday the 24th if she doesn't want to! i'm fine with having kids a little early.

the gerhardt's (take 2)

i got to take pictures with this family this past january (almost a whole year!)
we had fun in january and had even MORE fun saturday. after hanging out with them for a while i realized i'm so ready for 3 kids, bring it on!

these boys are totally awesome though. and cute. they really are the coolest boys in the whole world. mom and dad are pretty fun too (that's probably why the boys rock)

and grandma got to hang out with us and take some pictures. now i have a new goal this year. get pictures with my kids and all their living grandparents. i'd love them to have those memories and pictures of being with those people who love them the most.

the hardest part about taking pictures is only choosing a few to share on my blog. i wish i could show them all!

i had so much fun on saturday's mini shoot. i'm still recovering, but it was worth it. i can't believe how sore i get trying to keep up with all those kids!!!

so glad this mom decided to call me up and take some pictures. her daughter is beautiful and i can't believe she's only 9! seriously! and the boys were fun and fast! so fun.

some families are good about taking lots of family pictures every year.

like the ray's. not the cortez's. melanie even takes pictures when she's pregnant, i avoid pictures when i'm pregnant. but then i don't look like her when i'm 5 months pregnant either (i'm not that cute, ever.)



i love mom and dad's looks in this picture like "please, help. another one really? or can we get this over with faster." funny that they didn't know they were both giving the same look! ha


we're pretty lucky to get to hang out with these kids pretty often since they're pretty good friends with my kids (not as often as we'd like though i'd like to add)
but the baby just grew up all of a sudden and i can't believe how cute she is! she's always been so quiet and i love seeing her little personality show up (and i love her legs by the way!) i can't wait for another little chunk in our family, good thing we've got one coming pretty soon.


my goal this week (besides just make it to the end of the week, which is my goal every week) is take some family pictures. i'll even take family pictures pregnant. yikes! 35 weeks this week, not that i'm counting down or anything.
