a long post for a long couple of weeks.

so this is what we've been up to...

1. saturday, nov. 17 cousin's birthday party. the birthday boy loves cookies.

i thought this was so funny, ashleigh learned the sign for "fish" last month at the aquarium, now she's obsessed with fish.
2. our first thanksgiving dinner at grandma pat's house, sorry no pictures but that was sunday the 18th.

3. tueday the 20th my baby girl turned 1!!! we went to the zoo, elijah always wants me to take his picture in this tiled throne thing, i have to make it more interesting for me.

our cousins from utah came to vist, laney is elijah's age (just a few months younger) and chloe is ashleigh's age just a few months older. lijah loves laney and keeps asking for her even though they left saturday morning :(.

4. tuesday night we did ashleigh's birthday party. there were a lot of people there. let's see, 2 grandmas, 1 grandpa, 7 aunts, 6 uncles, 11 cousins, and another family of friends (a family of 8!!!) it was madness, we loved it.

5. thanksgiving dinner at grandma's. everyone was there. we finally got some pics of all he cousins. and in february this picture will be out dated, my sister is due with another girl!! so excited.

elijah got new jeans for the pictures, aren't they just adorable, and he wanted to pose for me! it was so much fun. we went all around the yard and he just kept saying "mom take my picture on the trampoline, and the swing, and in the wagon, and on the slide." i wish he was like that more often.

he's getting so big i can't believe he'll be 4 in march!!!

6. our last thanksgiving dinner at grandma cortez's. ashleigh such a stinker she loves pulling the books from the bookcase.
the rest of the week was filled with family and fun, then sunday night ashleigh got sick and is finally feeling like herself today, whining and pulling ornaments off the tree. is it bad to say i liked it better when she slept all day?!

i hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving also. i'm so grateful for all my family and everything they do for us. thanks for all the turkey and ham and potatoes and everything else you do.

crazy november

so i know it's been a couple of weeks since i posted last. i'm working on some pictures and just like everyone else we've had a crazy week that ended with my baby being sick. she's been puking on me the last two days. she seems to be getting better, and she hasn't slept so good in a long time. hopefully tomorrow i can clean the house and have a little time on the computer. we just bought a new game for the wii, guitar hero, so we've been staying up late pretending to be rock stars. i feel so musically talented. i think i could play a real guitar! anyways that's been my last couple of weeks.

also remember it's getting close to christmas if you want to schedule pictures please try to do it soon so i'm not going more crazy as christmas gets closer. we're putting off christmas shopping until the saturday before christmas. we have a theory if we have less time to shop we'll spend less, so we're testing that out this year. i'm not leaving town for the holidays so i'll be here to take pictures all of december and i'll go into january if i need to so you won't miss out on the $50.00 promotion if you contact me before january to let me know you want to set a date.

so my little note is a lot longer than i meant for it to be, i hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving and are excited for this christmas, i know we are. i'll post again soon, so keep checking my blog!!!

the fultz family

you know one of those people that you just want to be around, always want to be in the same room and sit next to. someone that you want to walk by because no matter how aweful you feel you know they're going to say something that will make you feel better? well that's sara. so you could imagine why i was dying to take her family's pictures, that and they're all just beautiful! how lucky am i?!?! thank you sara for always helping out and making me feel so special and beautiful. you're wonderful!

halloween

so what's so great about halloween, i don't like dressing up even though i love looking at my kids all dressed up. i don't like fighting with my kids to get them dressed up however. then there's the staying up late, eating lots of candy, being really cold and now elijah only wants to eat candy.

so this is how our night STARTED!!!
and elijah pouting. so what's the best way to make a pouter feel better? ashleigh thinks it's to poke them in the eye.

they were pretty cute though.
trick or treating was interesting, they both feel asleep on the way to trick or treating. we debated whether or not to wake them up, decided to wake them up. it took elijah a while to really wake up, after the first house he realized this was a pretty good gig. all he has to do is run, and i mean run, from door to door with his little tail wagging after him and hold his bag out and people put candy in it. after 45 minutes he just walked into a house a sat down. needless to say he was ready to go home. so we went to mario's mom's house instead and elijah just sat on the couch eating candy. i'm so tired. i think i'll go to bed, but first i'm going to go see what candy elijah has left.
