the ray's

we had so much fun this morning, dispite the chill and running noses. i think next time i need a little bribe for the kids. maybe they'll like me better than. but they were so cute and patient, the adults that is. the kids were just ready to play and they were rewarded in the end with the trains. i think we spent as much time watching the trains as we did taking pictures. and not because it was the kids choice, i'm sure dad is still trying to convince mom they need model trains in the garden. hahaha. i hope my husband doesn't read this and get any ideas.

Amanda!!

I think high school pictures are my favorite, well actually i just love taking pictures. Amanda and I (along with ashleigh and elijah) had fun taking pictures yesterday afternoon. it was perfect.

this was so much fun. just watching the joy and laughter from this little photo shoot filled my day with so much happiness. i wish i could start off every day with a morning like that.

Japanese Gardens

So i just went to the new japanese gardens at the botanical gardens. let me see what describes it best, peaceful, and awesome. now i need a daring family to let me take their pictures there. i had tons of ideas walking around. do i have any volunteers? maybe tomorrow morning. email me or call me. it'd be lots of fun and we'd get some beautiful pictures!

wedding pictures, the kids at least.

so i didn't take too many pictures of the bride and groom, they were kind of mauled by photographers. considereing we were in the middle of oldtown in the middle of the day in the middle of balloon fiesta. there was a lot going on. but their photographers posted some of them on their blog, jonesphotoart.blogspot.com, if you're interested. but look at my pictures first!

asheigh wanted to crawl around so bad, but her dress was too long so i tucked it into her bloomers. ashleigh's old love, eating dirt. her new love, flowers.

elijah was so cute, we were looking at pictures yesterday and he said, ashleigh princess and zidaya princess. and i said what about elijah, he said "elijah not princess, he's just church" hahaha! i love the way he thinks. but he was still pretty dang good looking don't you think?




i have one more pictures that i love of the kids, but i'm working on it still. i want to do a scratched, textured overlay to it. i haven't had a ton of time to work on it. i've been moving things around on my computer to my new 500GB hard drive. i filled up the internal one! but as soon as i have a minute i'll post it.

i just have to say, i love this family. they are so cute and wonderful and really great friends. who else would drop whatever they were doing and meet to take pictures?! also they're pretty dang good looking!

in the next couple of days i'm going to be posting more information about family photo shoots, just in time for the holidays. the package includes 20 (or more) digital negatives in color and b&w and also a digital card (created by the very talented jacque). plus you choose the location. all for only $50.00. i'm super excited! can't wait to take more pictures.
