so one of our christmas projects this year was making thank you cards (which i haven't handed out yet, so if you're wondering why you didn't get one, that's why) but i really want the kids to show their appreciation for gifts or at least start learning that saying thanks is really important. we are so blessed with all our friends and family around us, we are so grateful for everything they give us and do for us!!! so i let the kids paint on the cards. this is how it went...
then before christmas elijah had a little program from school. it was so cute and he did so good. better than i ever expected. he was up on the stage sang, and played his drum and jingled his bells (which he still sings jingle bells to me almost everyday except he learned another song for his program called sing noel and he kind of mixes the two songs together) and he even said his part in the microphone. they were telling us their favorite stories. he said "i like dora, and boots and swiper the fox too" i was so proud that he was willing to stay on the stage he didn't cry he said his part. here are all the kids during their rehearsal (i can't spell, you know what i mean)
then a special someone came and visited the kids at the preschool. here's a picture of some of the kids holding santa's hand and walking him into the building. how funny and cute it that!!!

elijah's conversation with santa. s: have you been a good boy? e: (nods his head) s: what do you want for christmas? e: (nothing) s: do you want a dinosaur? e: (nods his head)
i'm thinking what?! a dinosaur all he talked about was santa bringing him a transformer. don't worry a week later he sat on santa's lap again and straightened things out. he made sure to ask for a transformer, then santa's helpers gave him a little gift bag with goodies. elijah opened it up and said "where's the transformer?" i love that kid.
and santa came to visit in a big, red fire engine. which elijah got to sit in and drive. he was so happy!
and here's a picture from the actual performance courtesy of mario. he captured the moment perfect.
so that was my post to make up for my lack of posts i hope you enjoyed it!!!

Thanks Michelle,
I think it must have been me that complained about you not blogging. Just think I talk to you at least twice a week and I still feel like I miss things so think of all your fans out there that are missing out on everything.
Oh, and this is Krisine by the way
Your kids are so dang cute. Not surprising though considering their mother. I constantly read your blog so I too am content at new posts. Keep them coming! :)
Your kids look so much alike! They're so adorable.
