windy pictures

last saturday we ventured out to take pictures of our own. why does the weather never cooperate when I want family pictures??? i thought it was supposed to be nice. but it was cold and super super windy. by the end the kids were crying and pouting and fighting so we called it over, then the wind died down! of course!! but i'm still glad we went out and we got some fun pictures. but i want to do it again (maybe when devyn's a little older and the weather is a little warmer!)

Snow

we haven't had a lot of snow and the kids have been begging to make a snowman everytime they see a snowflake. it finely snowed a little last week (except i think it only snowed in our backyard) and the snow was gone the very next day. they had fun throwing snowballs, making a mini snowman, elijah made a snowdog and even tried to make a snow angel. ashleigh ran around with a smile on her face the whole time.
my favorite part was when they came inside and we made lemon bars and cookies!!! i now have a new favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe (and the best lemon bar recipe ever)

5 days old!!! i love my job. i love being able to hold the new new newborns for an hour or two. it's such a treat. it's even better when they have the coolest mom and most adorable big sister. i can't wait to take pictures of this family as they continue to grow.

february mini shoot

i've been meaning to post new mini shoot dates for a while now.
i just don't seem to have a lot of time for the computer lately.

i will be doing mini shoots usually on the 4th saturday of every month. i'm not sure of the times yet for upcoming months (depends on basketball and soccer games)
