baby xander

i'm sad when all my friends move across town, but it sure does help spread business! i know i keep saying i love baby shoots but i really do. my baby is growing up so fast that every once in a while i get to hold a newborn and try to imagine that she's still that little.

it's so easy to forget little details about them. i've been trying to capture the little fuzz on the shoulder or the hair (and creases) at the back of the neck. the confused/surprised cross eyed look. and the peely fingers and toes. babies are so amazing and beautiful. it's impossible to hold one and not believe that there's a loving Heavenly Father looking over us and protecting our families and especially our little ones.

xander sure was a good subject. (and his sister even got to sneek into a couple of pictures) she was so cute taking care of her baby doll while we were taking pictures with her brother. i hope i'll get the chance to take pictures with xander and his family again someday!
