devyn 1 month (a week ago)

i was taking pictures by myself with a 3 year old as a helper. she wasn't much help. im afraid i may have missed my window of taking good sleepy pictures. that's my own fault for waiting too long. devyn's already too alert and awake and wakes up easily when i move her around after she is asleep. but she's still cute!




she's growing and changing so much everyday. yesterday she was smiliing and talking to mario when he was giving her kisses. she becomes very alert and startled when she hears ashleigh coming close. (puts her hands up almost to block anything that may be coming)and loves being held and sleeps great in her bed, at least in the begining of the night until i get up and take her out and put her in my bed. she's a super happy baby and we love having her around. i can't believe it's already been a month (actually wednesday will 6 weeks!!!)

i'm so glad this mom called me to do pictures. just let me say i LOVE pink! and hot pink is the best. it was so much fun editing these photos and have that beautiful color POP out at me every time.






this is how i felt after my mini shoots on saturday. but it was totally worth it!




so now i'm done editing. and i even have some pictures of my baby to post (maybe tomorrow, i don't want to spoil everyone with all these new pictures. i'm going to spread it out over a couple of days)

so now the rest of the week i will
tuesday - mail off pictures and hang out at my moms while mario takes his final
wednesday - early day, go to zoo after school, and get a hair cut (actually the whole family will get a hair cut, then we can take family pictures!!!)
thursday - elijah has a school christmas something. he's singing a song. he said it's the chipmunk song but he only hummmed a tune. so this should be interesting
friday - there's so much going on i don't know which we'll be going to for sure!
(we have tickets to a basketball game, a friend's performing at hastings, and we were invited to something else but i don't remember what it was)
saturday - going to arizona
sunday - coming home from arizona

i also need to make elijah's teachers christmas presents (rice warmers - you stick them in the microwave and they make you toasty warm, i think i'll make an extra one for myself) and i though some hot cocoa would go lovely with the warmers.

and somewhere in all the stuff we're doing this next week we'll get to christmas shop! -hopefully

i'm too afraid of janelle to post too many pictures on here. you know how pregnant women get! even though i don't think this girl can look bad in a picture. she always looks so cute and i love the little "you better be behaving" looks she gives her husband.





i'm super excited to meet their new little boy in a couple of months.

so glad i finally got to meet this amazing mom with her amazing and cute kids! we've been emailing back and forth since october or so trying to get together. nothing was really working out. finally got some quick pics at my last mini shoot. how fun are all those boys and one sweet little girl who was "keeping her eye on me"

i seriously hope this poor family doesn't hate me for mixing up their kids names!!! the one thing i hate about short 30 minute photo shoots is that i don't get to hang out with the kids and get to know them really good. plus i've had a million and one things on my mind the last couple weeks. like the fact we haven't christmas shopped AT ALL! i'm not exaggerating either. plus having that little baby along with all the photo shoots i've had lately i'm just trying to get everything done so my families can have their pictures for christmas too!

be patient with me i'll be more normal and sane by new year's (i hope)

i love repeat families

i took their pictures 2 years ago.

they were so much fun then, and so much fun again. and i got the best hot chocolate from old town, and it was even better because it was so cold and warmed us all up.

sorry can't say too much, except this family is beautiful inside and out. i've got a lot of work to catch up on now!
